    Regional Board ESI Scheme, Haryana

    As per provision made under Regulation 10 of ESI Act 1948, A Regional Board is constituted under the Chairmanship of Hon’ble Labour Minister, Haryana.

    Members of Regional Board, Haryana are as:

    Labour and Employment Minister, Haryana – Chairman

    Financial Commissioner and Principal Secretary, Labour – Vice Chairman

    Labour Commissioner, Haryana – Member

    Director, ESI Health Care, Haryana – Ex-officio Member

    Senior State Medical Commissioner, ESIC, Chandigarh – Ex-officio Member

    Four Members each of Employer’s and Employee’s Representatives – Members

    Regional Director, ESIC Faridabad, Haryana – Member Secretary

    Functions of Regional Board

    • To review the working of the Scheme in the State both on the medical side as well as cash benefit side.
    • To advise the Corporation and the State Government on measures to improve the working of the Scheme both in regard to payment of cash benefits and administration of medical benefit.
    • To promote preventive health measures, safety and personal hygiene.
    • To review and check certification and other deficiencies observed in the implementation of the Scheme
